I want to browse your record collection. I want to hear the space between the hits. What is your recollection? When you found it in the bins. / Do You Remember how it felt? / I want to dust your book collection. I want to read the titles on your shelf. Was this your inspiration or just a little self-help? / Do You Remember how it felt? / I want to browse your record collection and I want to hear the space between the hits. I want to dust your book collection and I want to read the titles on your shelf. / Do You Remember how it felt?

Holding On 04:25
These staycation blues are a privilege bruise but I still need a break from all these mistakes and I swear when this is over I’ll know just what to do / Our time is limited, so let’s make the most of it while the clock has stopped, oh yeah / My starving spirit and idling mind I’m living on what’s left behind when things get back to normal I won’t forget what’s due / Our time is limited, so let’s make the most of it while the clock has stopped, oh yeah / If you’re hanging on (what’s left of your spirit) When times marches on (make the most of it) You’re not alone (we’ll make it through this too) I’ve been holding on too (I’m holding on to you) I’m holding on to you

Did you see the photograph? Kids dunking on the general. Young ballerina choreograph. The people’s circle painted colorful. / Growing food on a wasteland. Speakers knowledge, feeds your soul. Here’s a list of our demands. You have no control / Expand the circle! Expand the circle! Expand the circle now! / You see all the magazines? It’s more than just a hologram. Tear gas is not a smokescreen. The people’s circle pilot program. / Growing food on a wasteland. Speakers knowledge, feeds your soul. Here’s a list of our demands. You have no control / Expand the circle! Expand the circle! Expand the circle now!

This song is a protest (Sing-a-long!) / If you make it real they will feel. You can’t deny our simulation / This song is a protest (Sing-a-long!) / We’re scaling up our simulation / This song is a protest (Sing-a-long!) / Responding to society we push against reality. We’re making our priority to amplify equality. / We’re scaling up our simulation / This song is a protest (Sing-a-long!)
5.
When you talk to yourself are you really listening? When you write things down is it conflicting? When you listen back do you hear a harmony? If this seems too hard try again another day. But don’t fade away, or be afraid, just breakaway / Regenerate a fresh start / Accommodate the flaws / Meditate on your faults / Germinate the heart

Real Life 02:44
The side effects are interlaced. You use sugar to hide the taste. What’s good for you is embraced. Not a drop is left to waste. / You do realize this is real life / Our health was the price tag. You walked away with the prize bag / The side effects are interlaced. You use sugar to hide the taste. What’s good for you is embraced. Not a drop is left to waste. / You do realize this is real life

Stardust 02:39
Do whatever you can to execute those weirdo plans. / Make your own stardust unidentified artist. / Whoever you think I am you wouldn’t understand. The truth about the crash land? It wasn’t unmanned. / Make your own stardust unidentified artist. Blending those ingredients. Present them to an audience.

Aerosol 03:12
It’s time to leave it all behind. Start packing up, I’ve been reassigned. This conversation was long overdue. The pieces were right in front of you / My expectation of trust is valued more than your confidence. / Pardon my dust residue. Aerosol as I float past you. / I save the water when it rains, but right now it’s a hurricane / My expectation of trust is valued more than your confidence / Pardon my dust residue. Aerosol as I float past you
9.
I’m asleep in my dreams. Where am I? Who are they? I don’t recognize the landscape or the boundaries. Where am I? / Another Frequency Who are these people? I don’t know. / I just woke up in America? What a shock. One Look at history and I shouldn’t be this shocked. / Another Frequency. Who are these people? These are my neighbors. They are our neighbors. Wake up!
10.
How can you be so chill? I won’t see you for at least a year and maybe that’s your point. How many leaf blowers could there be? If I’m going deaf you’re coming with me, my headphones don’t disappoint. / Can’t wait to see you. We’re going to do EVERYTHING / Revisit all the thrift stores, digging for the rarest scores, then catch and release cargo. We’re spinning at the brewery. Don’t Look Back instead of delivery. We’ll meet you at the show. / Can’t wait to see you. We’re going to do EVERYTHING

about

When it finally hit me that we were going to be stuck at home for a while (you know like for a couple months), I decided to write a few songs just for fun. I wasn't trying or even expecting to sit down and write this album, but over a period of a few weeks the seeds of these songs started pouring out of me. I decided to take my time and see where things landed as I crafted melodies, recorded, and re-recorded guitars. I hope most of the themes feel universal, however there's no doubt that this record is my expression of life during extremely trying times.
